help--need advice please!

i really like this guy in my grade, his name is billy. he has this charming personality that pulls you in after one conversation (yes i do talk to him). the only thing is that he is my friends ex and i know that other people like him as well. i have a friend that is willing to talk to him for me but not tell him who i am. i would take this if it werent for what happened last time. last time i asked someone out, i asked a friend to do it cuz i was too shy, ya know? he rejected me, and i was fine with that except that my friend and a few others who found out kept asking him out without my permission. it made both me and him embarrassed. now, i know this is a different person who wants to talk to him for me, but i dont know whether i should do it. please help!

Well.. it all depends.. do you trust this friend? because if you do.. go for it! If your not sure maybe just reconsider some things and wait. unless you like the guy alot ;-) my advice? give it a go. if he says no, still act cool about it and continue being friends with him, who knows maybe he'll change his mind and see what a cool girl you are =) but if you don't want to take my advice thats alright =) do what you want.
