How many of your poems come from real life experiences

Sean that was so well typed and so beautiful!! we would all be empty shells!! and im never proud of my poems either but it is because im a happy person but i cant write anything happy!it is all dark and sad. and im not sure why.

I write some of my poems from real life experiences, I write my dark poems generally from scenes I have either dreamt or imagined but a couple I think up on the spot..

I generally find that poems are easiest to write when it comes from an experience you have had, sometimes my poems come from the aftermath of experiences, usually as i think about things in my head i find it helps to write things down and get them out of my mind. Ocassionally though, i can just look out of the window with some calming music on and just write..

Everything I have ever written has come from personal experiences.. I could never base it on something else. It just wouldn't seem right.

many of my poems are from experience, my fav is "my memory".

not very many actually. Alot of them are about my emotions but not actual things that have happened to me. lol Its funny cause some people dont get that and they will read one of my poems and think its real.....meh.....

most of them... pretty much all the sadness and explicit poems are based on my past... if it's not a true story, i'll say it at the end of the poem.

I write mostly what i feel. about maybe one forth of my sad peoms are real life.

Every single one. My poems are writting about experiences that I feel extra strong about, both good and bad.

some of mine are about how i feel, somthing thats happened...some are what may have happened to others and what they feel..some are just random lol
