I was just reading comments on cutting, I was just wonder when once the first time you ever starting cutting?and What went in your mind to do something like that?What was your emotion like at that time?

This question has been asked a lot. And really....if you don't want to read about it anymore, then go to another forum. Think what you wish, and say what you want, but you are just as pathic as everyone else if you are going to sit here and tell people to shut up about it, and to get over it, and blah blah blah.

umm i cut this time last year for 2 months... i had started it cuz i didnt know what else to do.. first it was a cry for help .. then it became a secret addiction

Well first started cutting when I was 14 because my dad was taunting me, and the thing that was going through my head was "Why can't all the pain stop?"

k ismail listen I know your trying the whole ur idoit for doing this so stop doing it thing. But the point is it don't work with me. Ok I don't care about myself if you knew my father then you'd see why I cut. Plus I don't use a razor not my style I use a sparp knife or piece of glass.

You can tell a person they need to stop cutting but it doesn't mean that there going to duh.

K Nada I didn't ask for your advice alothough I got, not by choice though. Anyways like I said people have to have the will power to stop cutting they can't just stop espically if their addicted if someone tells them too.

woah well said nada! I agree. I love cutting, but its selfish. it hurts not only myself, but my friends, and my family. And its stupid! I can deal with problems in a better, healthier way, and THATS what ive got to focus on. Another way of dealing with things. U can do that too.

I know there is another way but I can't have that way till later so don't know if I've confused you or not. Lol but anyways that way wont come for a lil while.

Huni if u want to stop, its simple. stop. I didnt think it was tht simple until nada and her lot were harsh to me about it. it opened my eyes in a way. Ive stopped. at 23:38 on this night i have stopped self harming.

k listen this all started cause of my dad I don't cut as much since I fell in love, I don't cut that much, but a lil more since I have to sneak around to talk to him, and see him because of my dad as soon as I get to be with my man I'll stop cutting simple as pie.

Lovemylove, try telling that to all the children who were beaten to death this year by their parents. And im sure many of them didnt delibrately harm themselves because of it.

I never said I was the only going through it I know I am not, and for anyone who doesn't know I have stopped cutting I hardly even doing it anymore. Just so you guys know I haven't cut in like few weeks. I'm slowing pulling away from cutting, not because someone told me to because I realized something these past few weeks. I realized that I'll survive my dad's abuse it may take time, and healing for me to get through it but hey I got my life with my man to look forward. Just so all you know I don't cut all the time anymore.But will say thanks for talking with me, anyways thanks ya'll

september 2003 maybe? off the top of my head, but i might be wrong. but i stopped on dec 20th 2004 and havent started again as of yet. stopping was the best thing i ever did, very hard but still.
