i am in that same situation i am in love with my boyfriend but he doesnt treat me how i deserve to be treated and i know i should let him go but i couldnt....i guess you have to get to that point to where you cant handle him anymore......im also an addict in recovery ....they are both equally harder to get over... |

My poem "Stoned" (plz check it out) refers to the feeling you get when you r on drugs, as to the feelings you hve when in love... i do not think they can be compared as such, but yes, they do have some similarities... not many... but some... |

Isn't love full of passion? And don't some drugs create a feeling of passion? I think that besides addiction, that feeling that nothing else matters is what I feel in both cases. Addiction.. maybe, Passion.. yes. |

Well guess you could compare it to a type of drug because love is addicting once you get a hold of it you can't help but ask for more, the same way with drugs. |

love and drugs... the only difference? drugs can kill you.. wait, but if you think about it, sometimes ppl are idiots and kill themselves too. i guess the real difference is, love isnt like drugs. they both can be addicting and all that good stuff, but they're just too different. |
