Adoption can't compare to actually having a baby of your own. Actually seeing something that came from your loins. That has your smile or your eyes. I can't understand why anyone would willing give that up, but that's just me. Good question JPM.

I'm not gay, but I do not believe that I ever want to be pregnant. I am planning on adopting. I know that I am only 14, but I have really thought about this. Of course, I might change my mind when I get older.

I often thought of this too...What would happen if the whole world became gay?

If the whole world went gay, human civilization would eventually die out.

    Good point Lipton.

Ismail, I'm not saying that adoption is bad or that it's not helpful. Adoption is great! I'm just saying I personally don't understand why anyone would WILLINGLY give up the chance to REPRODUCE if they are capable of doing so. It's just such a blessing.

Yes, fostering and adoption is the more obvious choice, but many use artificicial insemination and other more intricate methods of having a child for homosexual couples.

But JPM's question was actually "Don't you want to reproduce?" not, "How do homosexuals recieve children?" and his question can never be answered with one statement, but with individual responses and we've failed to have any gay people answer thus far so who knows? I agree that bringing a new life into the world is such a beautiful concept and it's a wonderful question to ask......

I think that if the whole world was gay then it would be wierd in a good and bad way. I mean there would be no children born. but there would also be no convert. I support the gay society 100% my sister is gay, my twin is bi and my best friend is gay. who are we to tell them that they can't be together just because we ( the government) don't like it? it is their choice right or wrong. it matters to them. it should be up to them
