Analyze this poem

I need to have this poem analyzed for english class. I have some ideas, but I would like second opinions. Can anyone tell me what they think? I would be most appreciative. Thank you.

Frozen into glass
Sustained yet suspended
An imaginary world
Barely comprehended

A world of jaded color
Revealed yet hidden
A private paradox
Stowed beneath the midden

I think that is an awesome poem, maybe its my vocabulary but what is "Midden" other than that its a great poem. Peace
