CPS??? whats that?

CPS . . . "child protective services" . . . right?

I know what you're saying ismail. It can be a really good thing because it can stop something bad that's been happening.

But try to understand . . . it can be a truly terrible thing, too.

Something like this can just make things worse. CPS and stuff like that doesn't just make everything all better. Sometimes they don't think what's going on is serious, and don't do anything about the situation.

Then things are exactly the same. Or worse, because someone said something that made CPS come check things out.

Or maybe you get moved into a shelter or foster home, and worse things end up happening.

To the person who started this thread: Why was it horrible? Help us to understand.
