Jackie, that was beautiful and thanks for posting. I hope those who cut or are thinking of commiting suicide read this. There is really so much to live for instead of dwelling on the past.

Great post. It really makes you think that cutting and suicide are such selfish things to do, when there are thousands of dying kids out there that would do anything to have a life like ours.
    Thanks for sharing.

Great post Jackie....I mean really this is what we have been saying. APPRECIATE the blessings that God gives you in this world and stop dwelling on the bad. Thanks again, Jackie.

I always appreciate the people around since something that happened to my boyfriend. Last year (before I'd met him) his Dad died and his mum became depressed. He then felt like he couldn't go on and attempted to kill himself. He was found and saved. When he told me, I swore to myself that I would cherish everyone and always make the effort to show them how much I care. This can often save people from doing terrible things. YOu never know what someone is going through, and a harsh word could push them too far. Also, you never know when someone you love will be taken from you. imagine they went and you weren't sure if they knew how much you cared.
This is a really good post

Death is death we live to die. Sitting around reading crap that say's I do not cherish everyday is bullshit. If you worry about cherishing everyday. Then you are not living.

I didn't mean it the way it came out. I'm saying that if you are constantly living to Cherish the day are you not letting yourself live. Your just making more rules for yourself to follow.

Well said, and I totally agree.
But we live in North America you can show these people many times the pros of being a happier person. And they would agree for a while. Then go back to feeling sorry for them self. They just need to grow up, and most will.
