If you want to be clean of sin and pure, then first empty your cup so it can be filled. Was that a biblical quote? Or was it the Zen guys who said it? Nevertheless, I feel this is apt, here.

Children have a knack to tell it how it is! They don't think of the person's feelings or repercussions of their thoughts. So if they praise someone it is in the purest sense~Holly
