I have a poetry problem...

You write about what you feel. Don't worry about what other people think. I have read some very good religious poetry. I try to write a little bit on each subject. The best poetry comes from your heart. If that's what is in your heart then write about it. If it's the type of poetry someone doesn't likes then they won't read it. Write about what makes you feel good. You will find that everyone has different taste in poetry. That's what keeps it from being boring. Write away you might be surprised when you see that not everyone on here is against it.

Not everyone hates religion...so if they are any good, people will tell you...

In honesty, I am not a christian, but that has never stopped me from reading, and commenting on a religious poem. I have even written a few myself. I say, post them and see what happens.

I agree with Jason...post what you want and don't worry about what people think.

Those who criticize your poem because you're a Christian are immature. It's the beauty of the poem that counts.

Yes, but still, the message in poems are important, so you will find that people don't like it simply because the message is worthless to them...

I am one of those, but will hopefully remain as mature as I can
