Okay, there is this boy in my class named Cody. And Cody, well, he has done some bad things in the past. Stolen, lied, cheated, basically those things. And everyone keeps giving him chance after chance, but now they are all sick of it and have given up on him completely! I have always sorta been friends with Cody, so I gave him another chance, and he really HAS changed! He is actually very nice now, but he has no friends because of his mistakes in the past. I have this other friend, Rachael, who thinks Cody doesn't deserve another chance. I kept telling her "He's changed! He has!" But she isn't willing to give him another try. She said he was rude and annoying, and I said LOOK AT THE LIFE HE HAS! His parents don't care, they are DEAD poor, and he has no friends! Then she said that she was never going to give Cody another chance because he hasn't changed. I really want people to see MY point of view! What do I do? |

Well, you can't change another person's opinion, but maybe if you publicised (sp??) Cody being nice...meaning you were together in public and getting along well, him not being rude, people would start to realize. And if you stay by his side, people will figure out that he is changed, because if he was the same you would be mad at him. |

Thanks guys, that was a big help. Nada, sadly, it is true about his parents. They are never home, they don't care if he gets good grades or not, and they, errm.. spend all their money on stuff like movies, four wheelers, TV's, instead of paying the bills. I mean, I'm sure they care, or at least I hope so, but they need to take responsibility! |
