Poetry doesn't always have to rhyme. In free verse, you make the rules on how to write it. But if your poem is going to rhyme at all, the whole thing needs to. If you have all of your poem rhyming besides let's say 2 stanzas, it loses the flow and the poem doesn't sound good. *just a lil tip* |

POetry should be something that expresses what the author thinks or belives. If they cannot show how they feel in rhyme in one verse, but can in the next, that should be fine. There should be no rules. But I, personally, also prefer poems where there is one particular rhyme throughout, or when it is just flowing words. |

I love reading rhyming poems, but free verse are really cool too. The rhyming ones have to flow good though, and sometimes thats hard to do |

yeah if you have to ability to make things rhyme well, then go ahead because it can sound good, but sometimes there are only a couple of words that will do, like 'knife' and 'life' you see that one a lot, so it is good to have a freestyle poem, you can go into more depth! |
