ADVICE! PLEASE! (i know its long, but i really need help!)

well a friend of mine is currently in a tight spot. everyone kept bugging her about how she was looking and acting sad and depressed and why she was writing these depressing poems. she said they wouldnt understand, but she finally gave in and said that she feels like she wants to die. so now because of this she is loosing her best friend shes had for eight years, plus all her other friends, except for me who knows what shes talking about because i feel a similar way at times and write poems about it too. they all say shes scary and that they dont want to be around her because shes not happy instead of trying to help her be happy. they keep saying that shes 'all about suicide' and now all of the sudden theyve dropped her and started making fun of that. they didnt even tell her why either. i talked to them and they say that the poems were stupid and were making her more depressed and thats what she was trying to do and that posting them on a website was stupid too. i finally convinced them to at least tell her why they left. i hate how they are judging her just based on that and wont even talk to her for fear she'll freak out or do something rash. even when she's not depressed, they dont treat her like a real person and just remind her of why she feels this way. it disturbs me that they are so selfish and that if they knew, that could be me too. any advice!?!?!?!? really really appreciated!!!!!!!!

just be there for her, i'm sure she needs someone to talk to and try to understand, i was in the same situation as her and only a couple of people stuck by me, i was still depressed about my other friends, but i was happy that not everyone left me....her other friends either aren't really friends or they're just scared....but i dunno, i'm not very good at this advice stuff....sorry i'm not much help....

yeah, they said they were scared of her. i even tried to tell them the best thing for her is not to leave her their, but just to be their for her, even if she says they cant help or that she doesnt want it. and i know for a fact that what they did was the opposite of helping her.

You have to be there for her and make sure she gets through all the bs that schools say about people. My school is also the same way. They talk shit about people behind their backs when someone is sad or something like that. VE THERE FOR HER!!!!!!
