Do people take your poems TOO seriously?

Depends on who writes it, or why they are writing it.

If a poem isn't serious from the heart when relating to death, sadness, or love - it can't be that good of a poem.

well not so much peeps at this site, but tha ones at others do, it realy irritates me

I'm not sure, I mean some of my poems are written in all seiousness and some are about other people or situations. I think it's up to the reader to interpretate the poem in whatever way they want. Surely it's better for them to try to help you than just ignore what you write?

I don't think people take poems too seriously. I'd rather they cared that not care at all. People on here don't know anything about you and don't know your life. It's great that they take a care.
