Tis petty how people whine about their problems so sad but in a way pathetic.
They seek comfort in others and yet what they don't understand is that no one can save them except themselves.

people who wine on this forum are attention seekers. it is sad in a pethidic kind of way that they have to go so low as to making a forum saying "I cut myself what should I do?" we all know what is going to happen. Everyone has a diffrent oppinion on things. I think it's sad that they have to to do that.

true. I think it's way WAY more sucessful to stop cutting if you have someone there with you or a group of friends rather then doing it yourself.

You guys all make a great point, but not everyone that posts in here with a problem is an attention seeker. I agree posts like "omg I hit a vein!!~!~!~", Yeah, that's pretty attention seeking, but the people who just talk about their problem, like a break up and just want someone to comfort them, That's not so attention seeking, in my opinion, maybe it is, but I would give more sympathy to someone who made there title something like "Harsh breakup" then to someone with the title "I can't stop bleeedddingg". That's just me though...

Threads like this could be used for attention seekers or for people who have real problems...I just know that someone who had a real problem would most likely feel better to get it off there chest here and have someone relate to them, if they don't have someone to talk to in person.

Attention seekers on the other hand would use this to be like "oh i cut down to my vein and i had to go to the hospital and stay there for days cos i lost so much blood, and my mom wouldn't come and my dad didn't either cos they dont are, cos no one cares" And so on so forth...I know that may happen as a real problem for someone, but that's just what I think attention seekers do, and that someone wouldn't normally mention things like that...make any sense?

i agree, not evry1 on this site is an attention seeker. i believe some people genuinely need help, although i also think that this isnt the best place to get it. a lot of people that post on here need professional help. no one can force anyone else to get professional help but i strongly advise, because there ARE so many people out there who DO care!
and one other thing, someone said that they dont know a 30 year old cutter, well i do, it's more common than you think
