For me sad poems but i don't like it when people make a love poem but they put it as a sad poem. I hate love poems lol i also really like dark poems

Sad poems, but only depressing and death usually grab my attention. I dunno.. i just kinda like them alot and find them to NOT get boring in like the middle of the poem

Doesn't matter about the genre, if it's a good poem (Which is designed to place you within imagery) Then it should suffice.

i agree with Sean . Doesn't matter what kind of poem it is , its how it is written(feeling etc..) and the imagery in it .

Any type of poem can be emotioal in my eyes...it depends on the writer.

it's not the most emotionaly poem but some of my friends write dark poems that make sense but don't - if you get that - they are REALLY good and i'd say they are the best ones - sometimes they make me feel like i'm there

I personally think that the best poem is one that deals with a real situation, like depression. I love to read poems about peoples situations, and i write them too. Also dark poems are good, because they stir your emotions well.

I would have to say it's nothing to do with the style or content of the poem...but more a rare kind of instant insight into the mind of the person writing the poem...like suddenly gleaning the meaning of the words...the feelings behind them....and you're like yeah i've been there too.

Most often in here poems aren't written so there is anything to discover in the words past the blunt and obvious...but sometimes...

for me it is anything that contains truth... and once you have finished reading it, you have to read it again because you are that intrigued

I think what intrigues most people when it comes to poetry is the aspect of relation between the emotion of the poem and how the reader is feeling or has felt in the pass. But in another sense, a poem can be intriguing by it's "intensity" so to speak. In other words, how well it puts you into an imaginary world and how well it makes the reader feel what is expressed in the poetry...but thats just my opinion
