Real Situation

I'd let go of both so I could swim faster to shore, my mom could screw some man and get me another brother any time.

I wouldn't, I would make them hold onto each other and tell them to swim back together, then try and maybe get back myself. Or, I would hold onto them as much as I can, somehow attatch them to me with my clothes, and make them hold on tight, then swim back with one on my back, the other infront of me with with my arms round his tummy.
