Best kind of Poem you can write

um.. i used to love to write about... love and broken hearts and stuff, cuz that's what i was going thru.. but now, i'm tryin to become a better writer, so i've tried to write on different and extreme subjects and participate in those poem game posts!

Depressing poems are easier to write for me. I just find the emotion comes so much easier than others.

my best is Love, ive done very few, Sad or Lost Love, but Most of Everysingle one that i have thats under NC Rico-Suave and David Martinez, mostly everysingle one is love

The poems I write about are always something different, my favorite poems that I can write are the ones that I can give to someone to make them feel better. But I am begining to write alot of poems that tell a story and try to give some sense of theme or overall ending emotion to them.

sad and depressing poems....those are mostly what i write and what i can relate to so it only makes sense for that to be my strongest genre in poetry.

Dark poems are my favourite to write, Its brilliant to use new words and to create interesting descriptions with them, I also write sad/depression poems because they help me release my feelings and I enjoy them..

life, or explicit poems...I just can't seem to write about something that doesn't have atleast one taboo subject in it. tee hee, ;)

the best kind of poems that I can write are usually my darl ones but (not to blow my own horn or anything) I think that a lot of the stuff that I write is good.. thats why I post it on this site.... to share it with others

I find writing sad poems easier, I write whatever my mood is, and that's often sad

mine are my sad/depressed poems because well i find it easier to find inspiration when i am sad and reflecive, rather than hyper.
im not really in the mood to sit and write poetry when i am busy running around in circles.

The best poems are those that come truly from the heart, whether sad, or joyous, or about love, or about a tragedy.

Moreover, poems that make you reflect about something are also excellent. Poems that touch your soul are also great.

Ah...my best clearly reside in anything about death, suicide, hatred, pain...the unhappy type. Though I have loved and such, I find it so much easier to write about...and I am thinking about starting to get more varity, but I do believe I will always stick with the 'dark' poems.

hmm i think im good at writing about God. i can always express my feeling the way i want when i write about Him. its amazing

The poems I partake of writing and in fact, write best are Romantic Love poems and Erotic Sensual poems. I don’t normally partake of writing Dark, Sad, or Depressing poems/poetry, for that’s not my nature or essence. Once in a while, I might do an outspoken piece - one that falls under the political or social activism umbrella, but I usually save those topics for essays and editorials. I much prefer to express positive topics in my poetry (such as love) or to be humorous, satirical, or explore my sensual passions - the topics of desire and longing. I am a romantic at heart, romance is part of my soul and so there’s a romantic element to my poetry writing. I can write about anything, if I put myself in that place, but romance, sensual passion just comes naturally to me, and beside there are some places I just wouldn’t want to go, take myself!!!

i am best at writing poems that actually reflect something true about me, because i find those one's to contain more emotion, therefore people connect with them better.

I like lots of different types, but mostly dark, fantasy, funny, and mystical...

I am better at writing sad poems, because my inspiration is my depression... it's hard for me to write happy poems, because I'm not in a happy or sad mood a lot of the time

Instead of writing about what you like to write about, write about a problem, and point to a solution. Something that makes a difference in the world today. Almost everybody tries to write for emotion, but not everybody tries to write for solving intellectual things. Try some of those.
