Um. Well. in my poetry. it's usually like 4 - 10 stanzas.. and 4 lines in each. and the second and last line are usually the ones that rhyme... i try to use smaller words, cuz alot of things rhyme or are close soundings to smaller words. but bigger words i think finishes off the poetry or something? idk.. (hard to explain for me). But, i don't really liked poetry that doesn't rhyme, it takes me a while to get use to it because all of my poetry rhymes.

Rhyming is good if you can maintain originality and stick away from the ABCB rhyme scheme.. sure, it's fine to use it, but I hate authors that can only write like that.
Sometimes I rhyme, often I don't. It depends on what I'm writing, and if I want to risk my poem seeming very forced.

I always rhyme, simply because I am not a really good writer...

I fear to write without rhymes, as I highly doubt they will be any good...

I rhyme, because I think it gives the poem flow... I always rhyme... If I can't find something that rhymes, I re-do the sentence...

I have nothing against poems that don't have rhymes, I like them too;)

I have the same rhyme scheme throughout my poetry! I don't try to write it that way, it's just how it is! I've been attempting to broaden my rhyming horizon, different types of poetry and such! But it's a work in progress~Holly

I use an ABCB Rhyming scheme, or sometimes AABB. I prefer my poems to be long as I feel they are too short and not full enough if they aren't.
