my dad is sick and its my fault

exactly its not your fault that you dad is dying of liver failure. Their just saying that to hurt your hun don't listen to you, its not your fault you never caused it.

WHAAAAT? that is the stupidest thing ive heard in my entire life. god, if i beleived that i was the cause of my father getting sick and dying id never be able to live with myself. frankly its most likely your dads fault that he has liver failure. he didnt take care of himself

Its is definately not your fault. Your parents are totally wrong about saying it is. They are probably just very upset and cant think straight. You cannot help it if your dad has liver failure.

Honey what kinds of stress could possibly have cause you dad.His drinking isn't your problem babe, you never cause him to do that it was on his own free will that he drank.
