meaning of a rose

A rose means love:

1 = you are my love
6 = my life is not complete without you
9 = together forever
12 = a perfect love
24 = thinking of you every moment
50 = love everlasting
66 = our love is forever
99 = love that exceeds all else
365 = thinking of you more and more everyday
999 = ours is a love without limits.

Roses are nothing without intent behind it.

I could buy a dozen roses and declare a perfect love, but at the end of a the day the roses will still die.

Reminds me of the time i finally had enough money to buy flowers, and could not tell Tracie about the fact i had brought them and she cancelld our plans as she was to 'depressed to see me'

The flowers wilted, and i just thought how pointless they were to begin with, you're right the person to first reply, the flowers mean nothing.

it's the thought that counts.. eventhough the roses may die soon.. btw, have u ever thought of drying the roses?? they're pretty cool.. =) it will last forever.. take 1 rose tie a string to the stem.. and hang it upside-down-somewhere safe to dry it.. once its dried, you can keep it forever in a vase.. =) my sis did that and now she still have that dozen roses from her bf.. =)

i wouldnt say roses mean nothing...anything can mean the world if its given by someone you love with real feeling behind it, regardless of what it is. Any gift of love whether it be roses, wine or a note scrawled on a scrap of paper will be cherish for what it means not its superficial value...
