Phil....Yes, I agree that talking with others who have experienced things you're going through can be helpful. But some people get a little nutty with these cutting posts. Such as the post titled "what do you cut with." Should that be allowed? I don't think so. Share your experiences but don't tell everyone how and what to cut with. There are a few others on different types of self harm and people actually give detailed descriptions on how to self harm and I think that is going too far. Young kids on this site are bound to be influenced by posts like that. |

The whole subject fascinated me for a couple of months, I spent a lot of time disecting minds trying to find out the roots of the problems. |

The problem is, a great number of people on this site write so that they can put something in place of cutting, I used to be one of them, but the problem is, are we just going to say no- so then people who are going through it, cant write and display emotions to those who will listen and try and help so they get worse, because their biggest problem is they don't trust anyone or no one will listen or love them, so they need to say something, otherwise they have no other way to express it so are we going to stop that- or are we going to say yes and see other people start? |
