how do i get over my problems and focus on GOD

just sit down either with a bible or just with your thoughts. just sit and tell him your problems and he'll listen. listen for that little voice in the back of your mind telling you everything will be okay and that he's here for you. its just like having a normal relationship except that he will never leave or abandon you no matter what. just talk to him when you need it and he will provide all the comfort you need.

agreed, often the bible isnt the way to get to god. it teaches important lessons about him and about life and stuff, but to really find god you have to look inside yourself, beacause truthfully, thats where he really is.

Anyway...if you are trying to get a relationship with God going on, then if you want, you can start with the bible. I personaly would start just by talking to Him. He WILL listen. There are books as well that you can read other then the bible to help you out. I can talk to you a little about it as well. I'm not one of those stict bible people. Lol....sometimes when you start out, it's nicer talking to someone that isn't all "bible this, bible that". You know?
