I wonder, is your writing and ranting on 'Poems and Quotes' a solitary thing? Do people know that you pour your heart and soul into poetry and discussions with strangers?

Ok I'll go first. Only one person knows I visit here (sounds like a massage parlour), though she's never logged on and taken a look. Other people I know would find it amusing - very amusing.

A few people know of my going on hear.. I talk about it a lot.. Everyone knows that I write poetry, though I think most think it is just horrible little things like "My name is Tom, Pass the Rom" or something..

My girlfriend knows, and my friends Amy and Roos know.

a lot of my friends know that I write poems but only a very few know about the site and even less have actually seen the stuff that I've written, because I feel like this is kind of like my sanctuary and I can say whatever I want or write about however I'm feeling at any given moment and I belive that if all of a sudden all of my friends knew about this site that would change because I would feel like I couldnt be as open.

Most of my friends know that I write poetry. My two best friends are actually on the site. The aren't as active on it as I am, though.

i know... i think 9 people from my school or just friends that i know in person that are on this site. and i am goooood friends with at least 4 ppl i met on the site, and although i havent talked to them in person or met them in person, i love them to death!

My boyfriend just recently found out I write poems on here. And like 2-3 of my friends know.

Quite a few people know I post poetry on a website, and a few have checked it out. I don't care if they like it or not... that's not what's important to me. I've gotten a few compliments, though

None of my freinds know. im one of those different behind closed doors type who doesnt express himself to people and this is great because nobody here knows me so i can say anything.

only my closest friend knows. she's been reading my poems for years and is the only one who knows about my past...

All my friends know I write poetry. A lot of them have read some of it. I rarely get 'bad' reviews, like "that sucks" or something, unless it's from my brother. The worst I get is, "I don't get it, but I like it." Which I don't get, but whatever. It's how I feel about Byron sometimes, and a lot of Nirvana's songs. I told one of them about this site just recently...and it was almost on accident. I was guiding her down a path from another site, and it just sort of came up.

Only one of my friends know, but everyone knows I write poetry and many have seen them. They do not know I post on here, for they've never asked... but I've had a lot of friends tell me what they think of my writing and such.

Most of my flatmates know i come on here to moderate as we share a computer and they are constantly asking me to get off so they can look at porn and....get off.

My mom knows, I read her poetry from here all the time! A lot of my friends know to, they are the ones that brought me here. My old freshman english teacher is going to use this site for her Poetry class and poetry lessons, just because there are so many great poems here!

1 of my friends nos bcause i told her wen she found 1 of my poems. my parents found out by accedent they found my poem die bastard die printed out and i told them that sum 1 else wrote it and i just liked it. now i have 2 b careful wat i write wich kinda suks. i dont think it is shame 2 rite just most of my friends wouldnt get it and my only other friend i told thinks i stopped cause she got this wacked idea that i was like suicidal or sumthing from my poems?/????????????? HUH I DON GET THAT!

Thats because people are crazy. One of my friends writes poetry to try and not be suicidal. Poetry is her anchor in life. It's how you get that sorta thing out of your system. Ignore them and write on buddy! If they take you to a psycologist, that that crazy doctor that you are only trying to get the darkness out of you...thats what I say to and my mom has just given up.
