Do you keep some kind of jurnel or notebook with you at all times? Write down what pops into your head then go back to it when you have writers block. As to what to write about look around you and see whats going on. I wrote poem last night about a fly, True it was'nt very good but it was something to do. Look for the poem games that helps. |

What previous people have said is really good advice. Take a walk, look out a window, look around at people, and I'm sure you might be able to find some inspiration. If you have a diary just flip back some pages and look at all you have been feeling lately. I'm sure that'll give you some feeling and inspriation. Hope it works! |

Listen to your friends problems. Thats a great poem starter. Or read your journal or dairy and make what your feeling recentley into a poem. Sometimes the inspiration for a poem just comes to me. So good luck! Sometimes, when your not trying to find a subject for a poem, it comes to you! |

I write poetry on my life experiences. I think when you write about life experiences it makes more sense than usual. Take like what happened in the last week, month, or even day. Writing about life experiences also helps you get things out and into the open so it also opens you up to writing more and more. |
