Do you move way to much?

I'm sick of moving. i'm turning fifteen this july 8th and i've already moved 11 times in my life (military) but now that my dad is out of the service i'm still moving because my mom deosn't like anywhere we live!!!!! I just moved to Houston Tx. and now she's looking at a job in Virgina because she can never have enough money! thats all she cares about..she can already put me through college but she still needs more. It bothers me she is power hungry! do any of u have this problem??? i just want to be normal with friends that i can have for years...not a year!!! can u help me feel better???

she stayed in one place all her life, till she met my daddy, he was in the military. i just want to live in one place for a while, i know she's trying to make it better but it just makes me feel worse cuz everywhere i move i have to adapt.

yeah i can relate. my dad is in the military and now he's thinking about retiring. i dont think i could have had a better life though, even thogh there have been some rough parts. like all the friends i had to leave behind, just getting used to a place, then leaving, it's not an easy lifestyle but i mean, i used to live in belgium so now i'm bilingual, and now i'm living in jamaica which is awesome to say the least.
your mom is getting older so she just wants to get as much out of her life as she can. there really isnt much you can do about the situation, so just look forward to graduating when that money she earned is put to good use.

I can relate, too. I've moved 7 times and am getting sick of it. But in the end, It only provides as another way to grow and learn. thats how I choose to see it now, instead of complaining.

Ashlee I don't care when I move. I understand my mom is in love with change and I accept. I like meeting new people all the time too, so that's why I might like it more then others.

ryan, i usually don't mind when i move..it's just the last time was a bit harder...and when u put "stop whinning" on ur post..i really felt like calling u and ass...but i changed it at the last min lol. :P.....im usually not this way...it's just a lil diffrent here...i've moved 11 times..im not that far behind you....okay maybe a bit...but not tha much....and usually i enjoy...i was just lookin for someone to talk to about it....not someone that mocks me for having some bad feeling bout moving (hope u don't think of me to bad for my post!)

yes i get how you feel, i am turning 15 this july 5th and i have moved like 8 times!( dad is in military) and now he has retired but me and my bro's and mom moved to michigan now and i have only had a friend for a year i know how you feel cause everytime i would get a best friend we'ed move and i never spoke to her again but now everything is settleing down so there will be a time that your mom will settle down at somewhere to live.
