finding one's self

I so confused right now. when i look back, i would try to fit in by acting like the poeple who were popular....and it worked. But that wasn't me, i want to see me for who i am. I guess i'm afraid. I need to find myself, i want to be myself again. i can't ask my parents because we aren't that close. please guys help

I'm not sure how people come to "find themselves" as I know who I am and what I am and always have. I have always just been me and never acted any other way. I think you should be and do what you want. Do NOT be a follower...that only leads to trouble. Pull yourself away from all the people and things surrounding you that you don't particularly like. I THINK that would be your first and best bet.
