Mom's drunk again.

*Sighs* I thought she had changed but she hasn't one bit she went a got beer toaday, and I was wary because I knew she would get drunk.But I trusted her when she said she would get drunk, but she did stupid me for believe her. Anyone had alchol affect their life in a negative way?

Step Dad, was in my life for 13 year drunk all the time kicked the shit out of me and my mom.
Get your mom help she'll thank you.

both my parents drink....my mom annoys me and i hate it when she promises she'll stop, but doesn't....my dad can get really mean and yell and hurt me...but he doesn't hurt me all the time...but i agree with ryan, get your mom help...

Oh gosh I don't know how many times we've gotten my mom help it never works.We've tried everything. I guess I have to realize she's past helping.

Well when my mom got drunk, and now I guess its back again I either go out my grandma's or go on a walk.I just want to get away you know? I've tried to help her but I guess I just have to let her be because if I don't she'll just hit me anyways.

"dad" drinks....he's violent when he's drunk, so that's part of the reason why i'm never prone to wanting to see him.....he's not an alcoholic, he just drinks....

i've never had alcohol massively affect my life... but i feel so bad for everyone who has had alcohol affect their lives. i'm sorry you guys, and i wish there was some way i could help

The booze addicts are such a selfish lot. I've seen/see it first hand. They'll protect their drinking pattern with their lives, and perish the though of trying to suggest they drink too much! With the constant 'lows' (hangovers) comes the arguments; during the 'highs', as the booze is going down, they are everyone's friend. Friend/foe friend/foe friend/foe etc etc. They do need help at this stage and with the proper encouragement they'll seek it; and yet, sadly not many do.
