Don't worry about the votes only focus on your writing and the helpful comments. I have noticed if a poem of mine makes it to the top most recent poems it drops so fast it's not even funny. I ignore it voting isn't a bad thing if people where mature enough to use it in the way it was intended. I write for myself and I don't care about the votes anymore I just look for advice that could be helpful when writing future poems. |

I agree with all of what's already posted. If you want to put your poems on this website you have to accept the constructive rating or the people who just give you the rating for any reason at all. If your poems mean a lot to you, the little number that a reader will give you won't matter. Simple. Although some of us tend to get caught up in the rating, the votes......but don't worry about what others rate you because in the end it's how much you yourself likes it. |
