There isn't a way that you can find out. Usually when you post a new poem the first ones to comment more than likely have added you. It should be an earned privilege. It shouldn't be about the awards but the fact that others like your poetry. The awards should make you feel as if you achieved them by hard work and talent. I learned if you concentrate on the worthwhile comments that offer helpful advice you can only grow as a writer. Everyone has different taste when it comes to poetry so you won't always be able to please the whole site. Write for yourself and if you're happy with the outcome that's all that should matter. A lot of people have become so obsessed with the votes and awards it takes away from the purpose of writing. Take constructive criticism and use it to your advantage it can be quite helpful. One last thing don't worry about the votes the comments are the key to improving. I feel every writer has room for growth even the very famous writers continued to learn. Just my two worthless cents. |
