Hunni, even if he is in jail for something he DID do, he seems to have turned his act around and if you really love him then stick by him. And if he messes up again...Then rethink it. It all really depends on how much you love him and how much you would do for him. Show his mom wrong and help him turn his act around. Then when you get older and you look back on your life you can at least say that you did something wonderful for someone else

you said it urself he needs you more than anything right now...can u turn ur back on him in his hour of need? i know its hard for u and u'll prob feel ur loosing an endless battle but he does seem to want to clean up his act and sort his life around and he needs you to help him through that...even if you are just friends rather than gf n bf he still needs u to help him....think about this before u make any rash decisions, like freak said...even if things between u dont work out at least u tried and u helped someone when they needed you. dont turn ur back on him just yet...a least let him try

If you love him, and trust him (given he deserves that love because he treats you well) then stick by him.

If you are unsure, ask yourself why you feel the need to ask for advice first, is it because you're unsure of him, or unsure of your love for him?

if he really means all of what he said (which im sure he did)....and you turn your back on him and dont stick with him....he could end up even worse...if the only one that he needs and wants turns their back on him, it could make him feel like he has nothing to get better and change his life for....STICK WITH HIM!! and help him all the way through
