a lot of people do that.. dont take it to hard.. I just remember that my poem was on the top rated and that its good cause I like it and thats all that really matters.

No need to get upset, I think many of us have experienced the same thing. I certainly have. In the end when more people read your poems and give you ratings and true rating will emerge.

try not to let it bug you, in a couple of years it won't make a difference to you any ways. people are like that, i know what it's like to have ones voted on my work, but thats life and it's always good to know that people are willing to screw others over to be better. just don't take it at heart.

Who cares. Really it doesn't matter. J.K. Rowling got rejecting by a handful of different publishing companies because they thought that Harry Potter was too kiddish. Who finally picked her up--Scholastic. Not a top choice by a writer as good as herself, but now all the other companies are kicking themselves in the ass for it. So don't worry about your ratings. Nobody rates my poems, I don't care, actually people don't read, mine, but that doesn't matter either. If you like it that is all that matters.

The main thing is to write what you feel, express what is inside, what is coming from your heart.

Nobody else will understand except the writer. The ratings do not mean an awful lot as the system is limited. On some other sites the rating system is even worse. So don't worry just enjoy your writing and your own unique style.

They shouldn't be able to do that, but they are. I think if you are a good writer, then it shouldn't matter. Something close happened to me the other day. Someone's poem which I commented got upset with my personal opinion and created a new screen name to comment on mine and call me nasty names. I was very upset, but I'm not going to sink to their level. You shouldn't either. If you know you're good, that's all that matter. Just say "screw you" and have the satisfaction to know that you don't have to be childish like them and just know you're better than that.

that sounds pretty messed up to me. But you know what, it only makes them look bad because they cant win with other people rating so they figure the only way they are gonna get to the top is voting on the hightest person and giving them a bad rating. Just know that you are good and you dont need to be on top to show that you are.
