How can i tell her to shut up cuz she's really beautiful the way

my friend never stops saying she's ugly and worthless and fat. but in reality she's really pretty and guys drool over her. she could ask some guy to make out with her and they'd say yes. she's kinda punkish and wears lots of black and she seems to be falling in deep. if i even try to tell her what she's saying is wrong i just end up being thrashed out on! how do i tell her to shut she's beautiful just the way she is and live life for once...???
it's making me mad. it's not like she's always fishing for compliments but... i dont know how to respond anymore...

Yeah my friend used to do the same thing. So i just said to her 'well if that's what you think, then it must be true then eh?' She got kinda pissed at me but she feels better about herself now.
Having you compliment her all the time wont do her any real good, she needs to accept herself first.

i agree wit ismail and some other ppl. dont say 'u know you're not' coz truth is, she may not know that.
in effect, everyone is pretty, or ugly to some other person, if htat makes sense. just keep at it...good luck

maybe she really is ugly you just dont see it....and you dont know what her home life is so you dont know if she acctually is worthless and her parents and siblings make her feel that ways just agree with her that shes ugly and leave it alone

she has to accept herself...no matter how many times you say she isn't ugly...it only matters what she sees when she looks in the mirror...i wouldn't say give up, but it is extremely hard to convince someone like that...i know....try to find some other ways to show her she's not worthless/ugly/fat instead of just telling her in words....good luck.
