My friend died.

A few months ago a friend of mine died. I wrote a poem abut it and some one had the nerv to tell me it sucked. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was one of my other poems were that comment was put. It just saddens me that people make rude comments like that even durning times when you lose a friend. Seriously why would any sane person do that to another one? Honeslty. I'm having a hard enough time dealing with it with out some prick telling me it sucked.. Nothing sees to be going right since her death and ever since that comment I wish I would have been in that car instead of her..

So what if your poem sucked hun, it might not have been the best write people have the right to use the comment option to provide you with feedback and you do risk receiving negative feedback the second you post your poetry. Im sure they werent bagging the issue at hand at all just the structure of your poem, dont take it so personally use there feedback to improve as a writer.

I lost my mum and bf I write poems relating 2 them all the time i would b 2quite gutted if sm 1 wrote sm thing like that on 1 o mine

I lost my dad back in January, and when i was very upset in school a month later someone had the nerves to qeustion why i was crying a month after my dad passed away and told me i should be over it. It is very hard at an emotional time when someone says such a negative thing like telling you your poem sucks. But you have to remember there arent always good people out there and you arent always going to be told what you want to hear. So when someone does do something like that you have to either use it as a way to improve your poems or you ignore it. And yes i know ignoring it is not easy but, why when you are already VERY upset, get upset over what someone who you probably dont no and dont give a crap about. So honestly, you just have to move on. Even though that is very hard. Best of luck to you and i am sooo sorry to hear about your friend.

My heart goes out to you...but you can't let these comments get you down. Silly as it was you can't let get to you like that. Look past it and move on. Continue to let your poem be what it is and forget about the raunchy feedback.

hey don't listen to what others comment if you know that what you wrote comes from the heart! my friend died to and he was riding his bike and a truck hit him when he was out on an errand. I felt devestated even tho i didnt show it! But hold on strong and if you feel lonely sometimes and need to tell someone your feelings w/o them being a jerk im always here e-mail me at:
