get extreme, get in a fight...fall in loved...get on a bus to the poorest part of town closest to you....fuel your mind with things that need expressing.

When I have writters block I write the WORST story or poem I can. This gives me ideas, and more confidence in my writting. Good luck.

I have heard that it is when you have "writers block" is when it is best to try and write...it forces your mind to squeeze out what creative juices it has...since you are thinking harder, your poem should come out different.so I say sit down for an hour or two, however long it takes you to complete a poem (usually takes me an hour or so for longer ones...) and see what comes out.

    No more writer's block!!! :) :) :)

I finally (after 2 months) wrote another poem.
I wish it could have been a happier topic though.

    Take Care!!

Michaela, I'm going through the same thing right now. Instead of thinking about it, I'm just going with the flow and doing other things to keep myself occupied.

Hopefully, the block will be short lived and the inspiration will come back. I think if you do the same and do something else that interests you, it can help.

    Best regards,

    Steve

Well, maybe you're spending too much time thinking about it. Just relax and do something you like maybe...Just look back at you're old poems and see if it sparks an idea, and if it doesn't, just don't think about it and dont fret...it'll be okay

    ~Good luck :)~

Just wrote a poem on writer's block to get out of writer's block. It helped.

I take a brake mysealf. I look through old poems.
Or read other peoples poems till I get a spark. It does pass. Give it time.

Don't force it out, just sit back, relax, look around you, there are so many different things to look at and take inspiration from, but when you start forcing it, you can tell instantly. It won't go on forever, just keep writing and something will come.

I feel the same, I guess all we have to do is find something exciting in our life thats happening right now and write about it, I think that could solve writers block because I haven't wrote a poem in a while.

Ok JPM i think your opinion is kind of insane.. half way because everyone at one point or another has trouble getting the thoughts out on paper.. its not always that people dont know what to write its just how to right it.. because i know right now i have alot to write about but i cant seem to get it out on paper and to sound good at the same time.. i mean its not that i have nothing to right about.. thats just crazy!! ok well thats my opinion.. bye bye EJ

    I hate writers block!!

It stuff up all your poems and stuff, when I try to write a poem without an idea or writers block, it does not flow...
