i dont think bob is wise at all addictions arent selfish how cant they be i mean half the people who get addicted to cutting have no one to care about bc no one cares about them........at least thats what it seems like and i no u cood agrue nad say yes they do but until ur in this mind this reality where its all jstu black and the only way out is to cut away all the black and in ur mind everything is all deformed and the only way u can reach those few people that do care about u is to slice and cut all that black away and there you hope theyll b standing in the light so u keep on cutting away at the blackness.......

My sister is a druggy and a drunk. Now she has three kids. She dropped her kids off with other people because she'd rather get drunk and pop pills. She had the entire family worried about her and concerned about her life and the babies. She lost custody of one child so please tell me again that addictions aren't selfish. Her drug problems and other issues were the cause of her losing a child, hurting her other two, and losing her whole family. I haven't spoken to her a very long time. She got messed up one night and my mother was her punching bag and ended up with staples in her head. She was messed up another night and tried to slice her wrists. So had she done that and killed herself or ended up in the hospital who would have cared for her children? So along with leaving three kids behind she'd had left her whole family with loads of grief as it was in my home. Don’t you think that would affect me just a little bit? When you do things that affect other peoples lives in a negative way it makes you selfish. Whether it’s drugs, cutting, drinking, it doesn’t matter….ANY kind of addiction.
