You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours

Ok, so maybe I shouldn't post this because to me it just sounds vulgar, but I will anyways because I'm curious to see people's reactions and comments. My sister and I were in the car yesterday and we were talking about what my boyfriend and I do and she said that, it was wrong, ok well not wrong, but unfair for me to do certain things for him, that he doesnt do for me. So what do you think? In a relationship, should things always be "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours"?

No, it shouldn't in my opinion.

You should do something for someone because you love them, not because they "scratched your back".

Hmmm, if you like doing the back scratching it doesnt matter if they scratch yours back, but it could be nice..... :p

And the whole "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" isn't a literal thing. Its like if a 50/50 thing. Eg. I give you 2 sweets, you give me sweets back. I think thats what this post is on about..
