Your First Day Of High School

I'm going to be starting high school soon. Yes I will be "fresh meat". I need some advice. I'm so scared that I'm going to lose my boyfriend and all my really close friends. Plus, all the classes I have to take, and what if I get lost?! I seriously need some advice. Thank you so much for your help. It means alot to me.

Freshman are not "fresh meat". I just recently graduated high school. I've been where you're going. It's not that bad. Things may be strange the first few days as you're getting used to your new school. I'm sure that as nice as you sound, you'll make plenty of friends. You'll be fine. Sure, some people are cruel - they always will be - so you can't let the idiots get to you. Make friends with some upper classmen in clubs you join or in band/choir. If other uppers see you mesh well with them, they'll respect you too. Just don't act like a freshman - stupid, childish - like you belong in elementary school (or a zoo), don't be annoying - give people space, because there's nothing upperclassmen hate more than freshies following them EVERYWHERE and talking to them EVERYDAY. Because they have other friends and don't want to spend every waking minute with you. So really, just be your sweet self.
