Confused...should i still love him?

im so lost and confused...i think that i am completly and totally in love with this guy but he likes some other girl...well it turns out that one of my really good friends informed me that this guy really likes me and i kinda feel bad for him bc i know that he is feeling the same thing bc i like cody and he likes someone else and then alan likes me....what am i suppose to do..alan is really sweet and a nice guy and i would date him...but i love cody...but how am i suppose to be with him when he loves my best friend?????
