Why Does Love Have To Be Painful?

I have suffered pain at the hands of the one I loved. To have been rejected and scorned is to die in sweet misery. To have and to have lost is better than to have never had, however, the latter is more painful. Why must such a dreadful emotion exist if it only ends in pain?

cos the pain we feel represents the amount we cared for the person we have loved and lost. love is a complex emotion and is always followed by pain until the day we die...its just a thin line we tread to find true happiness...

Love has nothing to do with pain, we just associate pain with love blindly.

Loss of love is painful, but that's different.

Learn to seperate emotion, and concentrate on them individually.

It's funny how often a heart must be broken before the years can make it wise......
