You don't know the history of the non cutter. Becareful what you write because just maybe that person knows a heck of alot more than you think they do. What do you think of a cutter that tries to help a cutter? Well they're not going to get very far are they? What about all the organisations out there helping starving children in Africa? They're not starving as well you know.So thats my opinion. I hope I haven't offended anyone. :)

You are right about that Kate, we don't know how it feels like to be a cutter. But some of us do know what it feels like to feel miserable and left out of everything. Some of us have been in similar situations, but havn't turned to cutting for relief. I myself don't cut, when feeling depressed or anything, I go take a walk in the forest. The silence adn peacefullness relaxes me. But those uf us who wosh to help, it's just because we care about others. We don't like to see others around us suffering and hurting themselfs. I do it, cause I find it meaningfull to the world, that everyone helps those in need. I don't know how you feel right now, but I do know how you wan't to feel, and all I wanna do, is help you get there.

If they offer kind words and friendship, then I tihnk non-cutters are very helpful. It's only when they start saying how its stupid (I mean it is but they don't know, i dunno what I am trying to say) or start talknig aobut how you sohuld just quit like it is that easy, or you know, stuff that they have no right to say because they wouldn't know better, then they should just leave it alone.

no offence kate like im a "cutter" (god i hate calling myself that) but would you rather them try to help us, and either fail or actually help or would would you rather them be horrible to us and tell us we are being pathetic, stupid, selfish etc....
i know what my answer would be...............
