it could be any book on poetry in general...

    two books I bought were,

    1. '100 things every writer needs to know'. A very helpful book, which I reccomend to any write excelled or beginer. It tells how to get started, helps with techniques on writing and brain storming and even tips on how to write better.

    2. A collection of poems by George Gordon, Lord Byron...one of my favorites. this book is one of a series that also includes Dickenson,Poe,Shakespeare, and Whitman...I suggest anyone who lieks to read poetry,to get into this series...

anyone else read anything worth suggesting?

I haven't read it recently, and it isn't necessarily on poetry but writing in general. It is how to write by earnest Hemmingway. Someone took a bunch of his letters and notes and stuff about writing and turned it into a book.

My mom just gave me a really old book called Modern British Poetry by Louis Untermeyer! It has a few poems from many different poets. It also has a paragraph biography on each poet! I've learned quite a bit from it!

Dickens. Only with a gun against my head! Sorry.

I'm consuming autobiographies at an alarming rate, for some reason.
