What 3 Out of 5 Women Want

    59 percent of women say they would like to change at least one feature on their lover's face! And guys, before you get too upset by that, note this: 54 percent of men want to do the same to their partner.

    That's from a survey of 1,000 adults nationwide, including 738 who were married or in relationships, conducted by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Alexandria, Va.

    What physical feature of their lover would those questioned like to change?

    * Hair: 24 percent of women, 17 percent of men
    * Wrinkles: 9 percent of women, 11 percent of men
    * Nose: 11 percent of women, 9 percent of men
    * Mouth: 6 percent each
    * Eyes: 5 percent each
    * Ears: 4 percent each

    Personally I wouldn’t change anything about my guy. I had minor reconstructive surgery to remove a scar on my forehead left by an injury. But GENERALLY speaking, I think the idea of physical “improvement” through plastic surgery is superficial and frivolous. But I know that other opinions may vary.

    If you could, would you change any of your SO’s physical features?

    Wow... i guess it's human nature to want perfection in your lover but that to me just seems shallow.

    Shallow and superficial as....as....well at this time, i can't think of anything more shallow and superficial as plastic surgery for "fun", even if you want to improve your mate...

    It sickens me. *retches*

    Peaces.

    now while i agree bout that. there is another view. some people are totally fixated on one part of their body, it's like a phobia. if they got that fixed and they were happpier then i dont see a prob. a prob is when u try and mould them instead of afore ^ mentioned. that i do agree is wrong. lv A, x

    Society is shallow in what they perceive as the perfect look. We have Hollywood to thank for this vile obsession. I am quite happy as I am. 19 and loving it. People need to like their bodies as they are instead of needlessly trying to change it. i understand losing weight for health and for your own benefit, but to please others and fit into the societal mold is stupid. Whever thought of Botox and all of these other plastic surgery methods needs to be shot, because they are only fueling this unhealthy fire.
