I need help with this.....plz help

Ok i dated this guy for 4 months but then we broke up because he said he was into heavy drinking again and didn't wanna hurt me by cheating on me so we broke up but then a couple days later he asked me baq out and i said yes b cuz i truely do love him even tho he did drugs and drank but he said he was trying to stop and i believed him but then he cheated on me and we broke up and i tried moved on and went out with this one guy that was really nice but then i started talkin to my ex again and he made me feel special cuz he would listen to me and i could actually talk to him and he said he would never cheat again and that he wanted me baq so i broke up with my boyfriend to go baq out with him but the thing is he is on probation for alcohol and drugs and stuff and he was just sent to rehab for 6 months and i didn't get to say goodbye...so i need advice on wut i should do b cuz i don't kno if he loves me or not but i kno i love him...should i wait for him or wut? plz help

I wouldn't get back with this guy...sorry to sound harsh but he does sound like trouble. If he did "love you" he wouldn't have cheated on you...whether hes drunk or not.
The guy you were with sounded nice, it may be too late for him though he may not want you back now and if i'm honest I don't blame him.
I don't mean to sound harsh, so I'm sorry if this does sound harsh. I think the best thing you can do is move on from your ex, hes had his chance and he blew it. Find somebody who will truly love you, who will truly cherish you. xx

Although my ex wasn't drinking or doing drugs, when he found out I was with my boyfriend now he was really really sweet to me trying to win me back. It was the hardest thing to say no to him, but I did and now I know I AM in love with my boyfriend now, we've been together 17 months (& 2 days) and we're still going strong.
"You don't know what you've got till its gone" Your ex boyfriend obv realised this..
