Discussion Forum Rules

The Forum Rules that are posted on this site are brief, clear and concise. I recognize that applying the rules is frequently a judgment call. But I notice that moderators are sometimes locking threads or admonishing posters for alleged violations that are definitely NOT in the written Forum Rules.

Is there a supplemental list of rules for forum posters? Or have the guidelines become arbitrary?

I have to admitt when I came on this website the rules weren't very clear... I mean of course there is the no copying and taking quotes but about the forum rules, they have a point... Some things aren't as clear as they could be.

Also, when I was looking at the awards and how to get them, they aren't very clear....

When you have good moderators like we have on this site arbitrary moderating is welcomed.

I don't like kissing rump, in fact I'll have to call the moderators smelly to atone for it.

Honestly though, they do do a grand job, so let them judge each topic on its merits not black and white rules.

Blue water, what you will come to realize over the course of time...is that we mods are better than you...and if we say something is wrong...then expect it to be in the next constitutional update, and forget about the morals of it.

we control the morals, and the weather in here...so sit back and enjoy the ride....and never....ever question us.

The grass really is greener on the elves' side of the fence.

I know that because I've been there.

The rules are applied on sliding scale, and it is a judgment call on their part.

Get on their good sides, if they dont like you you just may find your posts strangely altered by spelling mistakes you didnt make, and before you know it JPM is on your ass, but if you get on their good sides (pesto and short skirts work wonders ;) they'll pretty much leave you alone.

Some of us can get away with almost anything... ;)

I tried the short skirt and pesto thing but for some unknown reason it didn't work.

Haha, immune I am not. The elves have power over us all, I just find it interesting how specific people get targetted.

    Tiger, tsk, tsk.

Pssst.... BTW what do elves like to eat besides cookies?

That's a huge stereotype about elves. Elves do not actually need to eat. We just like cookies because they are sweet and yummy ;-)

And some of cookies look good... too good....

You are right about one thing Kaitlin...specific people do get the targeted by the mods.

The ones who break the rules, are offensive and, well, just plain rude.

  • Aken Sol

And the really cute ones get hit on too :-)

    *looks up targeted*

Most girls think my old boy is a dildo at first due to it's girth and general majesty. It's only when the motions of interest begin they realise it's all organic.
