Just wondering if people know how to read poems. If you have a certain way could you please tell me. I know most people read to the end of the line, which is why most rhyme at the end, but I also know that you are suppose to read them as a story. NOt from begining of a line to the end of a line, but beginning of a sentence to the end of a sentence. If anyone has another way of reading please inform me.

Yes I know, but a poem was suppose to be read like a story. It was actually Americans who started ending each line with a punctuation mark. That is one trademark of early American poets. Early poets from other countries don't necessarily try to do that. So they are read differently, even if the endings of each line rhyme, it is still suppose to be read like a story.

Yes it would be a nice feature if we could shape some of the poetry that we submit. Some authors would like to do this on purpose, but alas this cannot be presently done.
