advice please!!

i really like this guy. and he just recently told me that he's liked me for about 3 years. but he's had a girlfriend for about a year. he says he likes me more but he doesn't wanna break her heart. so he's not sure if he wants to break up with her. when he first told me i aksed him why he didn't say anything before. he said he thought i was "too good for him" then i asked him why he started going out w/ the other girl and he said he thought that if he had a girlfriend that maybe his feelings for me would go away. what i wanna know is is any of this true? or is he just full of shit. one of my other guy friends told me that he thinks he just told me this because his girlfriend isn't giving him any and that he just wants to get in my pants. i don't know what to do. if you have any advice i'd really appreciate it.

I personally think it is true bc i have known guys and girls that have gone out with other girls/guys to get their mind of people...lol..heck ive done it... but that is wat i think but it is up to u what u will believe...hope this helped....luv yas mwah

i think he does like you but he doesnt want to. ive done that b4 i had a bf and i liked another guy and now i am with him and have been for 6 months. not all guys just want to get into your pants there are some nice guys out there.. but if he tries slap him and dump him. i say that if he breaks up with his gf just go for it i mean wat do u have to lose?

Hun... I'm sorry but i think if he liked you more he would nix his current girlfriend. Maybe your male friend might be right. Then again maybe your friend is jealous. It's so confusing. I just think that you should confront him if it's really killing you. Tell him how this is making you feel. Tell him that if he realy liked you, he wouldn't be hurting you so much. But most importantly remember that no matter what, you are just as strong without a man.
