i need some good quotes

I'm not sure if this may be the kind of thing you are looking for but this was written to several friends to whom I dedicated a poem I wrote.

"You ... lifted my soul during some bleak times. You were the best of friends and the best of opponents in a tough game. My life has moved on ... but your friendship will endure forever."

Here's one more. These are words from a song about memories after graduation.
