Quotes and songs?....

    well thats your opinion. As long as someone puts who its by etc after the quote then I dont see a problem with it.

    There could be plenty of reasons why people do it. Maybe they like the song, that specific part of the song describes them/their life exactly.

    i agree with you! It's a song and it's not theirs - sure enough they might really like the song but that doesn't make it right.

    Exactly why they are called quotes: because they are repeating something that has been said.

    I think the general problem is that people just generate whatever sticks in their heads and is easy to remember. Not really any major thought process taking place.

    Put in who it's from and it should be ok, BUT I think it sais in the rules that the poems/quotes HAVE TO be your own, am I right?

    yes i agree..even though i have a part of a song..i think its ok if you have the artisit of the song and stuff because then it is NOT plagerising or anything

    Well I Think People Take Parts Of Songs And Use Them As Quotes, For The Simple Fact That Songs Have Strong Meanings And Wisdom, Its Not Really Stealing Unless They Don't Provide The Origional Authors Name Of The Quote They Have Listed xoxo-Nikki-xoxo

    also. when ppl change up songs and make them into a so called poem just because they changed a few words doesn't make it theirs
