Wow. I feel like I just took a massive step backwards... I just graduated from high school and I know what pre-prom anxiety is like. It shouldn't matter what clique you're in or who does or doesn't ask you to the dance. All you should care about is having a fun [and safe] night with your classmates and friends. Besides, the school year hasn't even started yet and prom season isn't for another eight months or so. Don't stress over it so much right now. Who knows - maybe you'll meet a cute guy in your english class who thinks likewise about you? You never know. If all else fails, just do like I did - go with a group of your single girlfriends. I think we had just as much [if not more] fun as everyone else there who had dates. These are some of the best years of your life - don't waste them away worrying. Good luck and have a great school year. [I'm off to college] |

Megan: As for the subject of asking a guy to prom and such. Just be casual. A lot of guys I know wouldn't mind a girl asking him out. In fact, they think it's hot [There's a post on this site somewhere about it...] The worst he can say is 'no'. It might sting briefly, but it won't kill you. Remember: Boys don't bite, unless you want them to. |

okay if i can get dumped 40 minutes before the prom by a girl i was seeing and really liked, have my grand-father pass away just a week before the prom, and have my bike get stolen, and still go to the prom and have an amazing time, then I am sure you can too...besides the prom isnt for a while right? lots can happen till then...Keep your chin up high because confidence can be an attractive feature, and just go either way and make the best with what you have, you only get it once, don't waste it! you gotta have fun in life no matter what has happened!!! |

Tay: I think I pissed him off. Do you realise how annoying it is when someone is so certain you are of one nationality but you're not what they think you are and... and... aww... I'm an idiot. I get so mad when people think I'm French [I'm Russo-Italian]. I can only imagine how he felt with my Asian comment... Whoo hoo. Score -5 for Eclipse... |

No no! don't worry XxX))Eclipse((XxX !! I'll never be mad you. I'm never really mad at anyone. It's ok when people mistake my nationality, it's good that they try. I sometime consider myself everything. Just because of the way I live. I eat anything! I watch Japanese Anime. I play soccer like a Brazilian. I play hockey like a Canadian. I'm really multi-cultural. So don't feel bad at all. +10 for being so awesome. |
